Yummy Chicken Marinade

A cooking recipe... from Graphics & More? Seems a bit odd, no? We don't think so. We're all about anything that's 100% amazing, and the recipe below is nothing short of it.

Our fine chefs conjured up this special combination of herbs, spices and other ingredients you can find sitting in your kitchen for the yummiest chicken marinade you've ever tasted (just don't let Aunt Barb know you've found a new favorite).

Kick things off by rounding up the ingredients to the left, and following the steps below:

1. In a medium bowl, mix together: Oil, Soy Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Wine Vinegar, & Lemon Juice.

2. Stir in: Mustard Powder, Salt, Pepper, and finely chopped parsley.

3. Marinate the chicken before cooking. The longer you let it marinate, the more flavorful the chicken will be.

4. Bon appetite!

12 years... 108 months... 2160 days...12,960 hours is what we spend in school expanding our minds and shaping who we are today. It's grad season and another class of students celebrate their 12 year accomplishment. A very big congratulations to the class of 2013, making way for the class of 2014.

Handmade Gifts

Perusing through Tumblr, we ran across this sweet little creation (image & link below) which got us thinking... some of the most thoughtful gifts are made by hand and come from the heart. It inspired us to make this post, which in turn, hopefully inspires you to recreate this awesome creation as well.

We put together a list of stuff you'll need:

1. A jar

2. Some sand or soil

3. A few seashells (or other items depending on the theme of your gift)

5. Ribbons

6. A sheet of music (magazine clipping, page from a book etc...)

 

Mix it together and make it unique! Although the items listed above are for the music themed jar, yours can consist of things special to the person you're looking to gift.

Confessions of a Burglar

Recently we noticed a spike in sales of our “Beware of Dog” signs. While we like to think we’re always up with what’s happening and trending, we weren’t sure where this one was coming from. One of our team members brought to our attention an article ABC News ran about home burglary, and then it all made sense.

In the article (linked below), a 4 time convicted burglar speaks out about what thieves look for when robbing homes and what to do to prevent a home burglary. Number 3 on the list? The 'Beware of Dog' sign.

“’That 'Beware of Dog' sign? Not even going near it," Patterson said. You can even skip the actual dog. The low-tech, small and cheap sign is effective enough.’”
